World-leading provider of aircraft charters, Air Charter Service, forecasts that its Brazilian operation is set to continue the strong growth it experienced last financial year and plans for further expansion in the country.
Having seen the number of local charter contracts completed nearly double in the first quarter of 2014, ACS Group CEO, Justin Bowman, stated that the region had huge promise for the company: “South America, particularly Brazil, is somewhere we are looking to invest in greatly. We’ve seen double-digit year-on-year growth so building upon that success is a key part of our global plans. As a result, we are aiming to increase our head count significantly by the end of the year.“We have seen a spike in business because of the football World Cup; however, most of this activity is from clients of other ACS offices flying in for the event, so our growth in the region is mainly from our Brazilian customer base. Brazil is often the overlooked country in the ‘BRIC’ category, but our
Brazilian operation is performing to the same high level as our Chinese and Indian operations.” Bowman further stressed the importance of having a Brazilian office: “A local presence has and always will be a key part of our success. Knowing the regional market not only means that we can provide a quicker and more comprehensive service to our local customers, but that we can continue to offer clients the world over a truly global network they can rely upon.”
